Things to do in Denver

Welcome to Colorado! Hopefully you'll have some extra time to check out the great city that we call home. Some of our favorite things to do are listed below:

Check out a Rockies game. Yes, we know their stats. However, nothing beats a hotdog and a beer at one of the most beautiful ballparks in the country.

After the game, head over to the Falling Rock Tap House to try one of their 75+ beers on tap. Or, check out the rooftop bar at The Tavern.

Not wanting to venture into the big city? Forgot your panty hose? Head to the Park Meadows Mall area. You'll find plenty of shopping and lots of great restaurants.

If you decide to rent a car, Georgetown, Idaho Springs, Red Rocks and Evergreen are all good choices for a mountain daytrip. If you are headed to Idaho Springs, Beau Jo's Pizza is a MUST. Watch for bighorn sheep!

For kids and adults alike, the Denver Zoo and the Denver Museum of Nature and Science are great choices.

This article lists some great places to see in Denver from shopping to dining.

Head down to Sloan's Lake to see the annual Dragon Boat Festival.
