Project: Website, Email, Social Media Campaign | Client: Luz en el Cielo
Description: Luz en el Cielo is an exotic eco-hostel in Montezuma, Costa Rica. This start-up hostel is in a remote location on the Nicoya Peninsula and is disconnected from the noise of the modern world. Although Luz is far from any major city, there is a strong competition for real estate and travel accommodations in this tiny town. Therefore, they needed a cutting edge online brand that would help them stand out of the crowd. (more…)

Here’s another free wallpaper for y’all to enjoy. This photograph was taken near Jeonju, South Korea at a Buddhist Temple. Hundreds of tiny Buddhas are hand crafted on the side of this large iron bell. It is used to gather spiritual energy and is located at the center of the temple. Visitors can gong the bell and make a prayer no matter what background they come from. (more…)

Happy Freebie Friday! This weeks wallpaper is a scene I captured in Bogota, Colombia in 2009. The man on the left is part of an elite Anti-Terror unit trained by the Colombian and US governments. These soldiers are found walking the streets during Colombian holidays or when they are called upon during an emergency. It is interesting to see the evolution between locals and the hard-line governments since the days of Pablo Escobar and his violent drug cartels. This soldier keeps the peace while his friend sells fruit on the side of the road. (more…)

I recently had the opportunity to travel to Oregon, one of the most wild and beautiful states in the US. Being a native Coloradan, I thought the two states would be fairly similar but I was pleasantly surprised when I experienced it first hand. The lone jarring peak of Mt. Hood, the neon green moss covered forests, the ancient cedar wood trees and the Pacific coast will forever be burned into my memory. I was truly inspired and I wanted to take those beautiful colors and carry them home with me. I’ve picked four colors from some of my photography of Oregon that work well together and capture the essence of it’s wilderness and beauty. Feel free to use them as you wish! (more…)
