Project: Logo Design | Client: Dry Creek Liquors
Description: Dry Creek Liquors is not your average liquor store. They have a long history in their community and over the years they have acquired a variety of pieces from old wooden ships. The interior of the store is decorated with antique liquor boxes, bottles and even an old mast as a ceiling support. DCL wanted a new look for their store. Some logo requests are pretty straight forward, and this was one of them. They required three skulls, some pirate flair with a little bit of “Bad Ass” added as well. DCL loves the new look and are in the process of integrating it throughout their brand.
Two alternative versions are shown below.

Hey Ryan„„ hope you are doing well…
the one on the left in the alternative versions look more “complete” to me.…
Just MY opinion, it is all up to you in the end.…
Hi Secil! Thanks for the comment. The one you’re referring to is my personal favorite as well. When you’re working with a client, it’s important to understand what it is they want and in this case the vertical logo worked better for them. I’m glad you like the designs.
Ryan, I really like the pirate theme. The vertical style is great and will look nice for business purposes. I also really like the alternate version on the left.
Well done, sir.
