Mega Wendy | Advertising

As I was walking down a street San José, Costa Rica, I noticed a new advertising approach to celebrate the remodeling of this Wendy’s restaurant. I will refer to it as the “Mega-Wendy” campaign. I am getting a mixed message here with the recent healthy food/healthy lifestyle trend throughout the fast food industry in the United States. Will “Mega-Wendy” prove to be beneficial for the Latin America market?

Visitors can gong the bell and make a prayer no matter what background they come from. (more…)

Freebie Wallpaper 3

Happy Freebie Friday! This weeks wallpaper is a scene I captured in Bogota, Colombia in 2009. The man on the left is part of an elite Anti-Terror unit trained by the Colombian and US governments. It is interesting to see the evolution between locals and the hard-line governments since the days of Pablo Escobar and his violent drug cartels. This soldier keeps the peace while his friend sells fruit on the side of the road. (more…)
