Project: Logo, Website, Social Media Campaign | Client: Dr. Raj
Description: Dr. Raj was in need of a new brand and a way to establish an online presence to open communication between himself and his audience. After designing the logo, I applied the new identity to a customized blog website that allowed people to write questions and interact with the doctor quickly and easily. The site also functioned as a portal to send people to his Facebook, Twitter and YouTube pages. (more…)

Project: Website, Email, Social Media Campaign | Client: Luz en el Cielo
Description: Luz en el Cielo is an exotic eco-hostel in Montezuma, Costa Rica. This start-up hostel is in a remote location on the Nicoya Peninsula and is disconnected from the noise of the modern world. Although Luz is far from any major city, there is a strong competition for real estate and travel accommodations in this tiny town. Therefore, they needed a cutting edge online brand that would help them stand out of the crowd. (more…)

Project: HTML Email | Client: Luz en el Cielo
Description: An exotic eco-hostel from Montezuma, Costa Rica needed a customizable email template to send out newsletters and updates to their followers. This design was blasted to hundreds of customers with fantastic results. The first eblast announced the launch of their new website. Not only did it engage viewers to visit the site, but it also drove traffic to Luz’s social media sites to stay current with special deals and the on-goings at the hostel. (more…)

The BBC released an article today titled “Google ‘may pull out of China after Gmail cyber attack’.”
With 350 million internet users in China (more than the entire population of the US), Google has had to face a big question of morality vs success. All media outlets in China are government run and an absurd amount of money is spent censoring anything deemed inappropriate for their population. I don’t mean to portray myself as an activist, but these include historical events such as the Invasion of Tibet and the 1989 Tiananmen Square Massacre. These Google search results are very different inside Chinese controlled territory. (more…)
